When Trevor sees or hears something that deserves an exclamation, he says, "What the??"
I don't think we taught him this, but it's possible.

Brandy has mentioned a number of students over the years that have picked up the "What the??" phrasing. Her theory is that it results from movie trailers/commercials where the longer phrase would contain offensive material, so it's cut short to give comedic/suspenseful timing to the "What the" portion.
None of the kids know what is supposed to follow "what the" since they never hear the words that come after.

Good to know that it might not be me. Maybe it was even that two weeks' at Brandy's school...
