Field Trips

Trevor's schools takes field trips. I think it's pretty cool. Next week, they are going to Philadelphia, but usually they are just local.

A couple of weeks ago, he took a trip to a local recycling plant. Sometime after that, he explained to me that the boxes and cans we recycle will soon end up in big huge cubed bundles! He explained with with just a bit of grandiosity.

I asked what happened after the bundling.

Unfortunately, he didn't know. And, I'm pretty sure he didn't even know why I wanted to know.

:)

Bleep

Yesterday when I picked Devin up from school, Devin said "darn it." I can't remember why. Then, when he got in the car, he said, "damn."

I said, "Devin, you can't say 'damn.' That's a grown up word."

"I'm sorry," he said. "I meant to say bleep."

Timely Post

Given the weather in Oklahoma today, you might find this a very timely post.

This afternoon, Devin comes into the office and he didn't ask for candy or gum! No, he told me about tornadoes.

He told me that he and Trevor could make a small tornado in the house that would make things blow around. Here's how it would work. Devin would wear a coat so that he would be warm. Trevor wouldn't have a shirt on so he would be cold. They would spin around in different directions and that would cause enough wind to blow things around the house.

That's just about how it works, right?

This was Devin, Memaw. Not our clever Trevor!
